Privacy notice | SafeMove

SafeMove Man With Van, operated by the individual trading as SafeMove Man With Van, is responsible for the personal information you provide through this website. Contact us on 07387 159514 or at safemoveliverpool@gmail.com.

What we collect and why

When you request a quote we collect your name, phone number, optional email address, collection and delivery areas, moving date, details of your items and any access requirements. We use this information to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote and, if you book, arrange your service. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract and performing a contract where one exists.

Who handles your information

Our website host and form provider, Netlify, processes quote submissions on our behalf. If you choose to contact us by WhatsApp or phone, those services process communications under their own privacy terms. We do not sell enquiry details.

How long we keep it

We retain enquiries for up to 90 days after the last contact for enquiries that do not become bookings, unless you request earlier deletion or a longer period is necessary to resolve a dispute. Booking and transaction records may be retained longer where required for tax, accounting or legal purposes and delete them when no longer needed, subject to any legal record-keeping obligations. We do not ask for payment card details or identity documents through the form.

Your choices and rights

You may contact us to ask about access, correction or deletion of your personal data, or to raise a concern. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies and website security

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies in its supplied version. Essential technical processing may occur through the hosting provider. If analytics or other tracking is added, this notice and any required consent controls must be updated before activation.
